Component Commands

The National Guard is a Joint Force. It consists of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force. Τhe National Guard General Staff is the supreme hierarchical command and involves the Commander-in-Chief, the General Staff, the Directorates, and Branches as well as its component commands.

Army Forces: Consists of numerous of Divisions, Brigades and Tactical Infantry Regiments.

Navy: The Naval Command is subject to the Commander-in-Chief. It consists of its Staff and its component Naval Units.

Airforce: The Airforce Command is subject to the Commander-in-Chief. It consists of its Staff and its component Aviation Units, such as Helicopter-Aircraft Squadrons, Anti-Aircraft Defense Squadrons, and Aircraft Tracking Control, as well as Operational Support Squadrons.
