Workshop "The Hellenism in the First World War"

    The Cyprus and the Greek Military History Committees on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War, organize a scientific informative conference titled "Hellenism in the First World War", which will take place in the amphitheater of the Aradippou Lyceum named "TASOS MITSOPOULOS" in Larnaca on Wednesday 30 May 2018.

    The workshop is held under the auspices of the General Staff of the National Guard and the General Staff of the National Defense of Greece in the context of the continuous briefing of their staff.

    During the workshop, both well-known and unknown actions of the Hellenics during World War I will be discussed as well as the geopolitical strategies and their effects  on the development of history. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to watch interesting audiovisual material related to the period on the WW I.

    The sessions will be directed by members of the Directorates and Historic Departments of Cyprus and Greece, while the rapporteurs will be external partners from the University of Cyprus, and others.
